Volleyball Recap: Ross County Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Ross County Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Olentangy Orange Pioneers.

Ross County Christian Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Olentangy Orange into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 22-25, 25-14, 17-15.

Gabe Bevan paced Ross County Christian Academy's offense, picking up 18 kills. Bevan got some help from Nathaniel Clevenger and his 15 assists. Finally, Bevan was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Ross County Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Olentangy Orange, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 3-17 record.

Ross County Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olentangy Orange, they will square off against Newark at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
