Basketball Game Preview: Brook Hill Guard vs. Heritage Christian Eagles

The Brook Hill Guard and the Heritage Christian Eagles will round out the year against one another at at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Brook Hill will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Brook Hill picked up another tournament win last Saturday. They managed a 46-41 win over Franklin.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brook Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zuzanna Majchrzak, who posted 11 points along with five boards and five steals. Majchrzak is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Remy Tonroy, who had 12 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Brook Hill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Heritage Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 37-31 to Prestonwood Christian North. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brook Hill is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.9 points per game. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
