Soccer Recap: Hazelwood Central Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Hazelwood Central was not quite St. Charles West's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell 4-2 to the Warriors. Sidy M Lo was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

He wasn't going to let St. Charles West walk away unscathed as he scored both of Hazelwood Central's goals, bringing his season total up to 13 goals.

Hazelwood Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for St. Charles West, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Hazelwood Central will challenge STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Charles West, they will welcome Winfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
