Volleyball Recap: Castle Rock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Castle Rock and Columbia, and Columbia kept the tradition alive. The Rockets came up short against the Bruins on Thursday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Castle Rock was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-23.

Bailey Sibbett paced Castle Rock's offense, picking up six kills. Sibbett got some help from Brynn White and her nine assists. Finally, Andie West kept Castle Rock's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Castle Rock dropped their record down to 7-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Columbia, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
