Football Recap: Port Arthur Memorial Starts Season with Victory Against Dekaney

Port Arthur Memorial gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Dekaney Wildcats 48-2. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Arthur Memorial is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Legacy School of Sport Sciences at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dekaney, they will face off against Paetow at 7:00 p.m. on the 6th.
