Basketball Recap: Lincoln Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Lincoln had won four straight home games and Frank Sanders did his part to make it five on Thursday. The Lincoln Railsplitters walked away with a 36-29 victory over the Glenwood Titans thanks in part to Sanders, who posted ten points in addition to six boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Glenwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-8.

Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Decatur Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenwood, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Springfield Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Glenwood is facing Springfield Southeast at the right time seeing as Springfield Southeast is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
