Basketball Recap: Perry Hall Christian Comes Up Short

Perry Hall Christian fought the good fight in their overtime game against Covenant Life on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Covenant Life Cougars. Perry Hall Christian hasn't had much luck with Covenant Life recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Covenant Life's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daniel Melendez led the charge by putting up nine points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah Dixon, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points.

Perry Hall Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Covenant Life, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
