Softball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

If Lincoln was feeling good fresh off their 16-6 takedown of Adrian last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Railsplitters fell just short of the Tecumseh Indians by a score of 9-7 on Monday. The Railsplitters haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Autumn Anderson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Bella Smith, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tecumseh, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Lincoln will head out on the road to face off against Chelsea at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tecumseh, they will challenge Riverview at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
