It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Altamonte Christian can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Lake Mary Prep Griffins on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Griffins this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss back in September.

Altamonte Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-11, 25-10.

Altamonte Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Valeria Marte, who had 13 kills. Marte is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least seven every time she's taken the court this season.
