Softball Recap: Airline's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Airline unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Acadiana Rams. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

Airline's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Acadiana, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Airline has already played their next game, a 12-7 victory against Teurlings Catholic on the 22nd. As for Acadiana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-7 loss against Anacoco on the 22nd.
