Football Game Recap: Davenport Central vs. Kennedy

After a string of three wins, Davenport Central's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 10-32 walloping at Kennedy's hands. The state rankings had actually given Davenport Central a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

The loss dropped Davenport Central back to even at 4-4. The win bumped Kennedy's record up to 5-3.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Davenport Central take on Bettendorf at 7:30 PM. Bettendorf have averaged 42.2 points over the course of their past four games, so Davenport Central might be in for a challenge. Kennedy will stay at home against Burlington at 7:30 PM.
