Volleyball Recap: Park Rangers vs. Laurel Locomotives
Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Laurel Locomotives. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Locomotives this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-13.
Laurel can attribute much of their success to Bailey Bequette, who had nine digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Bequette a new career-high.
Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Laurel, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6-1.
We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Park will challenge rival East Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Laurel is set to take on their familiar foe Billings Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
