Basketball Recap: Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars vs. Woodinville Falcons
After flying high against Renton last Monday, Bothell/Inglemoor came back down to earth. The Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodinville Falcons on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Falcons are ranked second).
Woodinville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kamryn Wille led the charge by going 7 for 16 on her way to 20 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Wille a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Sienna Bieler, who went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points and three steals.
Bothell/Inglemoor's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3. As for Woodinville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-1.
