Basketball Recap: Oakfield Falls to Randolph in First Game of Season

Oakfield unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Randolph Rockets 62-22 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Oaks have suffered since January 18th.

Maddie Medema went supernova For Randolph., shooting 54% from the field en route to 31 points in addition to eight steals and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexie Zemlo, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Looking ahead, Oakfield will head out on the road to square off against Sheboygan Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Randolph, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Albany at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
