Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Houston Academy walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Mobile Christian Leopards on Tuesday. Considering Houston Academy have won 16 matchups by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Mobile Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Mary Mills Carter led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Houston Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-1-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 110 goals over those 15 contests. As for Mobile Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-1.

Coming up, Houston Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Providence Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mobile Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
