Softball Game Preview: Genoa Central Dragons vs. Horatio Lions

The Genoa Central Dragons are taking a road trip to take on the Horatio Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Genoa Central is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

While Genoa Central's victory against Horatio wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Genoa Central won by a run and slipped past Horatio 5-4. That's two games straight that the Dragons have won by just one run.

Kenzie Owen was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Kelsie Fowler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

This is the second loss in a row for Horatio and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Genoa Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
