Basketball Recap: Tupelo Takes a Loss

Tupelo lost against Stratford back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tupelo Tigers were beaten by the Stratford Bulldogs 78-26. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 72nd).

Tupelo dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Stratford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tupelo will welcome Wapanucka at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stratford, they will face off against Dibble at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
