Soccer Game Preview: Rock Springs Christian Academy vs. Heritage Preparatory

Rock Springs Christian Academy is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Thursday. They will be playing at home against the Heritage Preparatory Rams at 5:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Rock Springs Christian Academy made easy work of Young Americans Christian and carried off a 4-1 victory. With that win, Rock Springs Christian Academy brought their scoring average up to 2.6 goals per game.

Bella Lockridge and Alana Hosford scored all four of Rock Springs Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Heritage Preparatory kept a clean sheet against St. Mary's Academy last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Bobcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Heritage Preparatory.

Rock Springs Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Heritage Preparatory, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
