Volleyball Recap: Alexander Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Alexander duked it out with Whitewater on Thursday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Alexander's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Whitewater, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3-1.

Looking ahead, Alexander is taking a road trip to take on Heard County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitewater, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Newnan on the 21st.
