            Softball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Cougars vs. Delaware County Christian Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Calvary Christian Academy). They put the hurt on the Delaware County Christian Knights with a sharp  24-12 victory on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

  Leah Zweitzig was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and three  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Rebekah Zweitzig also deserves some recognition as  she  brought in her first  RBI of the season.
Calvary Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-5-1. As for Delaware County Christian,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will square off against Academy of the New Church at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. As for Delaware County Christian, they will take on Renaissance Academy at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. Renaissance Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.11  runs per game on average), something Delaware County Christian will no doubt try to take advantage of.
