Football Recap: Arbor View Piles Up the Points Against Canyon Springs

After only seven points in their last game, Arbor View made sure to put some points up on the board against Canyon Springs on Thursday. The Arbor View Aggies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Canyon Springs Pioneers 40-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Aggies have posted since December 12, 2024.

Arbor View found their leader in freshman Priscilla Garcia, who threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns while completing 84.2% of her passes, and also rushed for 34 yards and one touchdown. That's the most passing yards Garcia has posted since back in December of 2024.

Arbor View was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 217 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Arbor View didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kaylinn Foss and Miranda Reiter.

Arbor View's record now sits at 9-7. As for Canyon Springs, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.

Arbor View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-12 victory against Mojave on the 14th. Canyon Springs has also already played their next contest, a 26-6 loss against Sierra Vista on the 10th.
