Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Izabelle Beekman and Aubrey Quillen Lead Eastern to Victory

Eastern won the last time they faced Green and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bobcats.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Eastern was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-8.

Leading Eastern to victory were Aubrey Quillen and Izabelle Beekman. Quillen had nine digs and six aces, while Beekman had 11 assists and six digs. Those six aces gave Quillen a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Eastern was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matchups.

Eastern now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Green, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
