2018 Polynesian Bowl showcases some of the best high school football talent

The 2018 Alabama pledge is just one of the top players featured in the 2018 Polynesian Bowl.

Honolulu's Aloha Stadium will host one of the premier all-star showcases Jan. 20 featuring some of the best high school football talent in the country. The 2018 Polynesian Bowl features a boatload of Division I recruits and MaxPreps national football editor Zack Poff and Myckena Guerrero will be there all week covering the festivities.

Some of the notable players include Eyabi Anoma of St. Frances Academy (Baltimore), Palaie Gaoteote, Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Brevin Jordan of Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), Tanner McKee of Centennial (Corona, Calif.), Solomon Tuliaupupu of National Champion Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.), Olaijah Griffin of Mission Viejo (Calif.) and Tuli Letuligasenoa of De La Salle (Concord, Calif.).

The 2018 Polynesian Bowl also will include top talents Ricky Slade, Tommy Brown, Jeremy Ruckert, Talanoa Hufanga, Isaac Taylor-Stuart, Brey Walker, Devon Williams, and Bryan Addison.

Former Super Bowl winning head coach Dick Vermeil and former UCLA head coach Terry Donahue will be the coaches, and the ambassadors of the event feature the Steelers' JuJu Smith-Schuster, the Titans' Marcus Mariota, Seattle's Michael Bennett, and the Ravens' Ronnie Stanley.



The honorary captains feature former Punahou (Honolulu) star DeForest Buckner and former Auburn (Wash.) star Danny Shelton. The events for the Polynesian Bowl takes place Jan. 15 through Jan. 20.
