Soccer Recap: Evans Comes Up Short

Evans and Lyman squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Evans had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lyman Greyhounds, falling 9-1. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Evans' loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Lyman, the win got them back to even at 5-5-5.

Evans does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lyman, they will challenge Winter Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Winter Springs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.
