Volleyball Game Preview: Anclote Sharks vs. Hudson Cobras

The Anclote Sharks will venture away from home to take on the Hudson Cobras at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anclote is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Anclote didn't have quite enough to beat Tarpon Springs and fell 3-2. While the Sharks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spongers 25-21 in the first set.

Anclote took Tarpon Springs into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-16, 22-25, 25-18, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Hudson came into Thursday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Fivay by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

Anclote's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Hudson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Anclote might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Hudson in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Sharks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
