Davis Sr. can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Folsom Bulldogs 40-6. The Blue Devils' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last six games.

Davis Sr. didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Daniela Cabrera-Carrasquilla led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Davis Sr.'s victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Folsom, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Davis Sr. and Folsom could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Blue Devils will challenge Granite Bay at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (471 vs. 40). Meanwhile, Folsom (ranked 579th) will meet St. Francis (ranked 43rd) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
