Softball Recap: Rolling Meadows Mustangs vs. Glenbrook South Titans

Rolling Meadows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to the Glenbrook South Titans. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Titans earlier this season, when they won 8-4.

Vanessa Cobos was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kelly McQueen, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Rolling Meadows' loss dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Glenbrook South, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-23.

Coming up, Rolling Meadows will take on St. Charles North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the North Stars have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Glenbrook South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
