While Westmoor's win against Jefferson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams skirted past the Grizzlies 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since April 25, 2024.

Jeremy Zhang looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Matthew Cote was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Westmoor hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matches.

Westmoor's record is now 7-3. As for Jefferson, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Westmoor and Jefferson will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Rams see the field they'll take on South San Francisco at 4:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Jefferson, their break will end when they face Harker at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
