Glendale put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Joplin Eagles get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Glendale's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Glendale pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Joplin, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Glendale will challenge rival Neosho at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Joplin is set to take on their familiar foe Kickapoo at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
