Baseball Game Preview: North Babylon Bulldogs vs. Half Hollow Hills East RedHawks

For the second straight game, North Babylon will face off against Half Hollow Hills East. The Bulldogs will square off against the RedHawks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (North Babylon has three straight victories, Half Hollow Hills East has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

North Babylon is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over Half Hollow Hills East on Tuesday. Considering the Bulldogs have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jake Walsh was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Ryan Camier also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: North Babylon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

North Babylon's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Half Hollow Hills East, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
