Basketball Recap: O'connell Finds Home Court Redemption Against Trinity

There's no place like home for O'Connell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 58-47 win over the Trinity Tigers on Monday.

Trinity's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Terian Maxie, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards. Maxie is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Darryn Bass, who posted nine points and five steals.

O'Connell now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Trinity, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

O'Connell has already played their next game (against Hitchcock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Trinity, they will head out to face off against Alpha Omega Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 2.
