Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seguin Matadors. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Matadors when the teams met back in August of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chaparral may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 13 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Seguin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Coming up, Chaparral will challenge Copperas Cove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seguin, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Taft at 9:00 a.m.
