It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Denair had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 49-16 victory over the Delta Saints. With the Coyotes ahead 21-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Denair to victory, but perhaps none more so than Degan Butler, who rushed for 174 yards while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. Alex Vargas was another major influence, as he rushed for 43 yards and ran in a TD.

Denair was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 317 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Delta only rushed for 72.

Delta's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Max Danila, who picked up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Chase Parkinson, who threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Danila also racked up 20 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in August.

Denair now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Delta, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 6-5.

Denair will challenge Stone Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stone Ridge Christian's defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so Denair's offense will have their work cut out for them. Delta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
