Glenwood had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They came out on top against the Opelika Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Gators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Glenwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12.

Glenwood's win bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Opelika, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-8.

Coincidentally, Glenwood and Opelika will both be playing Calvary Christian the next time they take the court. The Gators will host the Knights at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
