Shepherd and Gladwin are an even 4-4 against one another since August of 2015, but not for long. The Bluejays will be playing at home against the Flying G's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Shepherd took a 24-point defeat the last time they faced off against Bullock Creek, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bluejays won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Lancers 35-34.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gladwin). They breezed past Standish-Sterling to the tune of 35-0 on Friday. The Flying G's haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Shepherd's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Gladwin, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Shepherd was taken down by Gladwin 56-20 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bluejays were down 49-7.
