Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wesson). They never let the Jefferson County Tigers get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Tuesday. The Cobras haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Wesson got a big performance out of Parker Brooks, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1. Brooks has become a key player for Wesson: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Wesley Loy, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Wesson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .793. They are 4-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Wesson now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Jefferson County, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
