Fort Bend Christian Academy lost to Fulshear last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles came out on top against the Fulshear Chargers by a score of 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Reese Heflin made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. Heflin was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ariel Yee, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Katherine Trinh also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-2-1. As for Fulshear, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles take on the Bluejays at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Bend Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Fulshear, they will face off against Clear Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
