Volleyball Recap: Norfolk Christian Falls Short Against Ranked Stonebridge

Norfolk Christian faced StoneBridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Ambassadors lost 3-0 to the Cavaliers. The loss continues a trend for the Ambassadors in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10, 25-14.

Libbie Plumlee was the offensive standout of the game as she had 11 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had over her last eight matches.

Norfolk Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for StoneBridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coming up, Norfolk Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against TEACH Homeschool at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for StoneBridge, they will venture away from home to face off against Denbigh Baptist Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
