Volleyball Recap: Lamar Thunder vs. Colorado Springs Christian Lions
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Lamar and Colorado Springs Christian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Thunder were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunder also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
Lamar walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-12, 25-21.
Addy Krug paced Lamar's offense, picking up 15 kills. Krug got some help from Abygail Gonzales and her 34 assists. Gonzales and Krug didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.
