Football Recap: Thomas Worthington Takes a Loss

Thomas Worthington lost against Olentangy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The CARDINALS had to suffer through a 54-7 loss at the hands of the Braves. While losing is never fun, the CARDINALS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Braves are ranked 45th).

This is the second loss in a row for Thomas Worthington and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Olentangy, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Thomas Worthington is set to challenge their familiar foe Olentangy Berlin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Olentangy will face off against rival Marysville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Andrew Wilber and JJ Henry.
