Soccer Recap: Paintsville Comes Up Short

Paintsville lost against Greenup County back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Musketeers, falling 7-4. Tucker Hale is probably feeling rather frustrated with he team right now: they lost despite he posting three goals.

Paintsville is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. As for Greenup County, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paintsville will challenge Morgan County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Paintsville will be up against Morgan County's rather soft defense (which has allowed seven goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Greenup County, they will take on Portsmouth West at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
