Baseball Recap: Middle College Bulldogs vs. Craigmont Chiefs
Middle College barely beat Craigmont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs blew past the Chiefs 15-1 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Jordan Stevens was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Middle College is 2-1 when Stevens allows one or fewer hits, but 1-6 otherwise. Stevens was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
