Trey LaMay put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, LaMay and Frederick Gunn will be playing at home against Salisbury School at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Highlanders will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 68 places lower in Connecticut), but they're not letting that get them down.
