Football Recap: Mart Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Mart took on Bremond on Friday. The Panthers fell 28-20 to the Tigers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Although Mart took the loss, they still got scores from Damian Davis, Quinn Preston, and Zach Medlock.

It was another big night for Tank Scott, who rushed for 342 yards and four scores while picking up 12.7 yards per carry for Bremond. Scott really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.

Mart's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bremond, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mart is set to face off against their familiar foe Chilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bremond will take on rival Wortham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
