After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dodge City, Hays was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Junction City Bluejays a 3-0 shutout. Hays might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Junction City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brecken Otte, Andres Cisneros-Salas, and Ivan Maldonado.

The win got Hays back to even at 6-6. As for Junction City, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Hays didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Liberal on the 14th. As for Junction City, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-0 defeat against West on the 14th.
