Basketball Recap: Trinity's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It was fun while it lasted, but Trinity's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Tuesday. They took a 61-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Guertin Cardinals. The game marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Trinity fell to 4-1. As for Bishop Guertin, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Trinity will take on Nashua South at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Nashua South knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Trinity likes a good challenge. As for Bishop Guertin, they will welcome Spaulding at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Guertin is facing Spaulding at the right time seeing as Spaulding is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
