Soccer Game Preview: West Fork vs. Kingwood Park

The West Fork Gators will face off against the Kingwood Park Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Fork's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 12 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Saturday, West Fork came up short against Splendora and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Kingwood Park waltzed into their game on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They never let the Cougars onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by four goals or more this season.

Kingwood Park's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for West Fork, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 0-1-2 and their overall record down to 0-10-2.
