ROWVA/Williamsfield entered their tilt with Knoxville on Monday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Blue Bullets. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 30-32, 25-19.

Sawyer Secrist paced ROWVA/Williamsfield's offense, picking up 20 kills. Secrist got some help from Tori Trotter and her 35 assists. Trotter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

ROWVA/Williamsfield's victory bumped their record up to 28-6. As for Knoxville, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-17-1.
