Angel Ochoa leads St. Joseph Academy to victory over Del Norte

Recap: St. Joseph Academy Crusaders vs. Del Norte Warriors
The St. Joseph Academy Crusaders's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They managed a 65-59 victory over Del Norte. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Angel Ochoa continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 36 points. The contest was his 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominick Gale, who scored nine points.
The victory got St. Joseph Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Del Norte, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Academy will take on San Diego at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Del Norte and McKinleyville will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. McKinleyville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 238 points over their last four matches.
