Baseball Recap: Wilmington Charter Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Concord, Wilmington Charter was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Mount Pleasant Green Knights by a score of 5-2. For the Force, this counts as revenge for the 12-8 win the Green Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2017.

Wilmington Charter's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Mount Pleasant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Wilmington Charter will have a chance to go back-to-back against Mount Pleasant: the pair will be back at it again later today.
